This series of on‑load tap changers (hereinafter referred to as “switches”) is suitable for three‑phase or single‑phase oil‑immersed on‑load voltage‑regulating transformers with a rated voltage of 10 kV, rated currents of 100, 150, or 200 A, and a frequency of 50 Hz. By performing tap‑changing operations with the switch, the transformer can adjust the tap position of its windings under load, thereby achieving the purpose of regulating line voltage.
The switching system consists of a tap changer, an automatic or electric controller (which manages the operation of the tap changer), and connecting cables (which link the tap changer to the controller).
